Crossroads Inn in Schuylkill Haven

1st time there. Very impressed. Might be my new favorite place in Schuylkill county.

Excellent food. Had calamari special appetizer. Prime rib and crab cake with green beans and french fries.

Food and service was sub par. They charge individually for every soda refill.

Overpriced. $6.95 for 4 frozen, processed chicken tenders...no vegetable, no potato, no dipping sauce...just 4 tenders. The service could have been better, too, in my opinion.

Good Food, Nice Staff

The best steak I've EVER had, super tender and perfectly cooked! Stuffed mushrooms are sublime, pot de crème is heavenly, along with every entré and dessert I've tried on the menu. A favorite for sure! Certainly not your average 'cooks'... this place is host to an amazing Chef! Great selection and a perfect place to celebrate!

Horrible!!! I should have believed all the reviews before I went because they were all true!! The woman who turned out to be our server walked by is for 15 minutes before she came over to even greet us. We don't need another 20 minutes to read over the menu either, you gave us all that time when your entire staff ignored us. What ever happened to letting people know you will be right with them while your waiting on the other 2 tables in the entire restaurant!!!! The first 2 items we tried to order they were out of and she never said anything in the beginning. The food looked like it was frozen and just reheated. It was all a waste of hard earned money and we won't make that mistake again and I encourage people to read this and do the same. Just keep driving!!!

This was the first time i ate here or even heard of the place. Nice little place in the middle of nowhere. Word of mouth lead us here. The service was fantastic! Very polite all around and checked on us often. Food was really good with a nice size portion. My only complaint is no free refills on sodas. Other than that highly recommended eating here. You will probably need gps to find it.

We enjoy coming here regularly for their Prime Rib Special on Mon/Tue/Wed. Our meals have always been prepared as we order, arrive hot and with fresh ingredients. The service is very personable and their dining room is very clean. Highly recommended!

Very easy to find. Big parking lot. Easy access. Very friendly servers. Nice size menu that even has senior portions. The food was a nice size portion and tasted fantastic. The desserts are hard to decide but are all homemade and amazing. Sooo good, you should try it.

Prime Rib Special outta this world. We ate at bar, enjoyed the peeps. All friendly and fun times.

My drink order was a soco on the rocks, very small glass and definitely not 2 shots in the glass. I had a veal dish that was good, my spouse got the prime rib and it wasn't to his liking. Will probably not return there.

Great food and atmosphere

Food wasn't bad. Meat lasagna was fantastic. Prime rib was overcooked from what was ordered. Too much filler in the crab cakes. Biggest disappointment was the service. Took an hour just to get dinner salads. No bread until the salads finally came out. Would have spent more money on appetizers and desserts but was concerned about how much more time we would have had to wait. Food didn't out perform the slow service.

This was a quiet nice place to visit, I felt as if I was in someone's home when we had dinner there, I had my first dinner date with the man I had met online! It went very well. The only thing is the coffee is like a Turkish type and very strong, I usually have decaf and if this was well it was way too strong, the food and the other drinks were very very good and the waitress very nice.Mary O

We decided to give thIs place a try last night. The restaurant is very nice and decorated and clean. Upon checking out the menu, we noticed the prices were high but I don't mind paying for good food. It was a Saturday night and it was empty. That should've been a clue. The waitresses have zero personality but that's not the major issue. We first ordered clams casino. They were blah and covered in peppers. I'll take their word there was a clam in there I ordered a Porterhouse steak for $28.99. When it arrived it was pitiful looking. Small and thin and extremely overpriced. When I cut into it, it was cooked medium like I asked but it was tough and grisly and hard to chew. The side dishes were adequate. My wife had a crab cake wrapped in a filet which was bland and dry. The best part of the meal was my daughters cheeseburger which was average. Last night was an $85 lesson in where not to return to. Avoid this place.

This is a Hidden Gem in Schuylkill County! Drive by it on the regular too and never stopped in till tonight. Only had drinks but the menu looks fabulous and well priced! Give it a try if your looking for something,a little different and slightly upper class if your in the Skook!
